Executive will relocate to Company’s Toronto offices from Los Angeles
Los Angeles/Toronto – BLUEPRINT ENTERTAINMENT, a leading creator, producer, financier and distributor of dynamic and quality filmed entertainment continues to strengthen its executive team with the promotion of Elizabeth Madariaga to Executive Director of Development based in Toronto.
Ms. Madariaga will relocate to Toronto from Los Angeles and will report to BLUEPRINT’s VP Creative Affairs, Brenda Greenberg in Toronto and Frank Saperstein, Senior Vice President, Animation and Children’s Programming based in Los Angeles.
In this position, Ms. Madariaga will continue to develop prime-time and children’s series with a focus on the Canadian marketplace. She will also continue to oversee production on BLUEPRINT’s animated children's series Iggy Arbuckle, which debuted on Canada's Teletoon network in July 2007.
Ms. Madariaga joined BLUEPRINT in 2002 based in Los Angeles. In June, 2004 she was promoted to Manager of Development where she helped oversee production on several pilots, series, and MOWs including Good Girl/Bad Girl for Oxygen, 2 Kings for UPN, Shoebox Zoo, Kenny vs Spenny, Strip Search, and Chasing Freedom for Court TV.
Prior to joining BLUEPRINT, Ms. Madariaga worked in development at the Sci Fi Channel, working on a variety of programs such as Tripping the Rift and Children of Dune. Ms. Madariaga started her career at Alliance Atlantis working in International Distribution, where she helped to coordinate sales of shows such as CSI, Me and My Shadows, and Joan of Arc before moving to the production department to work with BLUEPRINT co-founder and President Noreen Halpern.
