Los Angeles/Toronto  – BLUEPRINT ENTERTAINMENT announced today production has wrapped on Be Careful What You Wish For (*working title), a two-hour television movie, starring Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica; The Bionic Woman) for Lifetime in the U.S. and CH Television in Canada.

Set in a small town in the 1990’s, all Sara Jacob (Sackhoff) ever wanted was for her classmate Brian Johnson to notice her.  She’s been pining for him since pre-school, and dreams of marrying him.  But when an eclipse lands the unsuspecting teenagers at their wedding almost twenty years in the future, neither of them are prepared for what adulthood has in store.

BLUEPRINT ENTERTAINMENT’s Executive Producer, Ira Pincus says, “We we’re thrilled to have Katee on board.  She is incredibly talented and can handle a romantic comedy just as well as the kick ass stuff she does on Battlestar.”

Also starring in Be Careful What You Wish For (working title) are Sage Brocklebank (Psych!, Smallville; Stargate: SGI); Kim Poirier (Host of Space Channel; Dawn of the Dead; American Psycho II) and Tommy Lioutas (Whistler; The Debbie Smith Story; Love Bites).

Produced by BLUEPRINT ENTERTAINMENT with local producer Stephen Onda Productions, Be Careful What You Wish For (working title) filmed entirely on location in Regina and Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.  This is the second time BLUEPRINT has worked with Stephen Onda Productions.  Last year the two companies produced the TV movie, Intimate Stranger, starring Kari Matchett.

“We’re delighted to be collaborating with BLUEPRINT again,” says Stephen Onda.  “And be able to offer all the wonderful talent that Saskatchewan has to offer.”

Executive Producers for BLUEPRINT ENTERTAINMENT are John Morayniss (Chasing Freedom, The Road To Christmas), Noreen Halpern (Absolution, Intimate Stranger) and Ira Pincus (Three Days, Absolution).   Produced by Stephen Onda (Intimate Stranger) and BLUEPRINT’s VP of Production & Development Bernard Bourret serves as producer.  Directed by David Winkler (Devour, Finding Graceland). Written by Nancey Silvers (Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy, Mom At Sixteen), and Ron Fassler (Murphy Brown).
