Los Angeles/Toronto – BLUEPRINT ENTERTAINMENT, a leading creator, producer and financier of dynamic and quality filmed entertainment continues to ramp up its volume of production and development as it adds Marla Ginsburg and Ellie Hannibal, two talented and seasoned executives to its team.
Veteran producer and executive Marla Ginsburg joins BLUEPRINT as Senior Vice-President, where she will be responsible for developing, packaging and managing a slate of content targeting both traditional television platforms and new media platforms. Her focus will be both in the domestic market as well as in the International marketplace where she will continue to expand BLUEPRINT’s slate of co-production projects. Ms. Ginsburg will also be looking at other business opportunities and new business models on behalf of BLUEPRINT. She will jointly report to John Morayniss and Noreen Halpern.
After a fifteen year stint in Europe, running the international television division for French studio Gaumont and working with such companies as Canal + , TF 1 and M6 in France, Ms. Ginsburg returned to the U.S. where she worked as a consultant with a number of film, television and internet companies including, GoFish, Kaplan Thaler Agency, Landscape and MGM.
While at Gaumont, Ms. Ginsburg was responsible for developing and executive producing Highlander – The Series which contributed significantly in resurrecting the US syndication market for one-hour series and was ultimately exported to more than eighty markets worldwide without deficit to the company. She also developed the hit US series, La Femme NIKITA (sixty six episodes) based on the feature film by Luc Besson.

Ellie Hannibal comes on board as Senior Vice President, Creative Affairs, where she will primarily focus on development and production of one hour and half-hour television series for the US cable and broadcast networks. Ms. Hannibal will report to Noreen Halpern. Previously, Ms. Hannibal was head of development for Star Trek guru Rick Berman’s Paramount based small screen shingle, where she developed programming for his self-titled company. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President for Jersey Television, where she was involved in all aspects of development and production for Jersey’s slate of comedy, drama, reality and longform programming. During her tenure she developed ABC’s critically hailed Karen Sisco for ABC and served as co-producer on the Comedy Central hit Reno 911.
